Jim has spent more than 20 years as a software, network and systems engineer. While studying computer information systems at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the 1990s, he started a company to provide Internet access to the Stevens Point community. He later wrote the first open source implementation of MPLS. Before joining INOC, Jim was a network engineer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and worked for a few startups. Part of his role at INOC is directing the customization of NOC solutions for clients, adapting software to meet their needs.
“I love the challenge of creating custom solutions for clients. We don’t do cookie cutter.”
