Service Delivery Specialist
This position is responsible for coordinating Network Operations Center (NOC) service turn-ups and delivering the service on schedule by working with both client and internal INOC resources. Coordination activity includes project management of new service turn-ups and verification that the new service meets the requirements stated in the Statement of Work. After the turn-up is completed, the SDS performs periodic audits and reviews procedures and service with INOC’s clients. The Service Delivery Specialist is also responsible for the configuration of INOC’s monitoring tools to ensure that all services are monitored to meet customer expectations. This includes making monitoring recommendations to clients, performing initial monitoring configuration, and any necessary ongoing changes. Qualifications required include a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, minimum of 3 years of customer support, network management and systems experience. Skills necessary for this position are basic knowledge of UNIX environment and tools, client-server environment. Experience in project management, technical writing and knowledge of ITIL process framework is desired.
