i3 Networks Launches 24x7 NOC Monitoring Service in Partnership with INOC
Northbrook, Ill., September 13, 2007 – Increasing customers’ network uptime and accelerating mean time to repair (MTTR) is what i3 Networks will deliver to customers through its new 24x7 network operations center (NOC) Monitoring solution. i3 Networks, a leading wholesale network provider and aggregator headquartered in Houston, Texas, has selected INOC as its solutions partner for 24x7 NOC monitoring. INOC, a leading NOC Monitoring solutions company based in the Midwest will provide i3 Networks’ customers a 24x7 service desk, 24x7 monitoring, incident and problem management, web-based reports and redundant NOC facilities. The NOC solution complements i3’s various offerings ranging from unbundled network elements to voice over internet protocol (VoIP), by giving customers greater visibility into potential problems, accelerating resolution and restoring service more rapidly.
“With increased demand for real-time, data and VoIP applications, network continuity and early detection for quick repair is becoming more and more important to our customers,” says Chris Reese, chief executive officer for i3 Networks. “NOC services will enable i3 to offer a complete solution to customers so they can confidently sell data and telephony services and stay focused on their core competencies.”
After reviewing several NOC services companies, i3 selected INOC because of their strong customer service, detail orientation, personalization and proactive management of network-related issues. Currently, INOC monitors i3 Network’s Class 5 switching network that covers almost 95% of the United States.
“We have great confidence in the NOC services we are getting from INOC”, says Reese. “INOC’s support has freed our IT and network operations staff to proactively work on network planning and help address new customer needs. Through this partnership, we can extend the same caliber of service to our customers.”
“We look forward to collaborating with i3 Networks to offer our robust NOC monitoring solution that satisfies the needs of service providers and reinforces i3’s commitment to customer service and service excellence,” says Prasad Ravi, chief executive officer of INOC.
