INOC CEO Prasad Ravi Named 2014 Honoree of the Daily Herald Business Ledger’s Entrepreneurial Excellence Growth Award

Nomination Recognizes Leader’s Contributions to Corporate Growth and Success Over a Two-Year Period

NORTHBROOK, IL, September 10, 2014 – INOC, a 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC) and global provider of outsourced NOC monitoring, reporting and support services, today announces that its Chief Executive Officer, Prasad Ravi, has been named a 2014 honoree of the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for Growth by the Daily Herald Business Ledger.

The Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards program, now in its fifteenth year, recognizes entrepreneurs in the suburban Chicagoland area who have demonstrated business creativity, perseverance, drive and willingness to take risk throughout the last two years.  INOC CEO Prasad Ravi was recognized for his contributions to the company’s growth and success, from pursuing multiple market opportunities, leveraging state-of-the-art technology in customer solutions and creating a sound business environment that encompasses top-notch client relationships and a proven, service-centric process.

INOC combines state-of-the-art software technology, highly resilient and redundant NOC infrastructure, proven processes and expert technical staff to improve uptime, availability and performance of various networks, servers and applications.  A Co-Founder and the CEO of INOC, Mr. Ravi has more than 20 years of networking and IT experience.  Prior to INOC, he was the Director of Enterprise Network Services at Rush University Medical Center, where he built one of the first large-scale ATM networks.  Mr. Ravi also served as Industrial Consultant at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, where he applied computational science methods to problems in engineering.

Mr. Ravi is one member of a select group of local entrepreneurs to be honored at the 2014 Daily Herald Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards reception, held Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 4:30 PM inside the Danada House in Wheaton, IL.  The honorees will also be profiled in the October 13 issue of the Daily Herald Business Ledger.  Mr. Ravi and INOC’s distinction as an Entrepreneurial Excellence Growth Award honoree comes on the heels of the company’s selection as a finalist for Illinois Technology Association’s 2014 ITA CityLIGHTS Outstanding Tech Development award.
